Annual Philatelic Weekend - 2020

Abbey Hotel Redditch"The highlight of the Society's year"

The France & Colonies Philatelic Society's annual weekend 2020 will be held from Friday 13 March to Sunday 15 March at the Abbey Hotel, Hither Green Lane, Dagnell End Road, Redditch B98 9BE. See map

With a first class meeting room available, looking out onto a pleasant golf course, isolated from noise and disturbance, we are ready to welcome our “regulars” as well as those who have not attended before. The mixture of serious philately and postal history together with good company in comfortable surroundings should ensure the success of our 44th philatelic weekend.

As well as enjoying the displays, members may also find much to interest them in the stamp and literature bourse that will operate throughout the weekend. The cost will be £222 for single occupancy and £316 for double occupancy. This is for bed, breakfast and dinner for two nights and refreshments on Saturday and Sunday morning. Lunches will be available payable by individuals as they wish.

Access is straightforward. By road it is some 20 minutes from Junction 2 of the M42.  By rail one goes via Birmingham New Street. From the station at Redditch one would need to take a taxi, around a 20 minute journey costing around £10. View map here
